Redeploy NSX Edge using Orchestrator
A failed Edge Node can be VERY unpleasant. The current UI of NEXT (as of writing 4.1) doesn’t supply the option to redeploy the edge with the same setting. However, the API does.
To make this easier, I have written a small vRO Script that will help you do that easily. It follows the VMware Documentation.
Please NOTE: Aria Orchestrator is licensed with vCenter and can be downloaded and installed easily.
ATTENTION:
The Edge will redeploy but may NOT join the same DRS Rules or the correct Storage Policy. After redeploying, check :
